Gardner Douglas - GD T70 Spyder Price: POA
Last Updated On: 30/03/2016
The GD T70 Spyder was developed for both road and track use, with a stunning look inspired by the 1966 race winning Lola T70, that triumphed at the CanAm Championship. The full spaceframe design, surrounded by a GRP composite body, offers immense strength and stiffness with substantial all-round occupant protection.
Designed for huge V8 power, in this case a GM LS3 V8 engine generating 450bhp, the GD T70 is capable of 0-60mph (97km/h) in a very rapid 3 seconds and has a top speed of 180mph (290km/h)+. In typical touring use, however, 30mpg (9.4L/100km) should be achieved. An optional detachable heated windscreen with pantograph wiper is available.
The GD T70 Spyder is also available as a self-build project.
